Meet Bethany!

She’s my new Office Boss and Potentate for All Things Good, Lovely, and Efficient.

She’s just recently marriaged and when she’s not doing wifely things, she’s often here at the studio editing and researching and coming up with quite excellent ideas.

Judging by my current reading list – my relationship with Amazon has gotten a little out of hand.

For photography/lighting techniques I’m loving new stuff by epic favorites Jeremy Cowart, Zack Arias and Joe McNally. For ideas and questions relating to business and faith, Seth Godin and Mark Driscoll are the men, respectively. When I find time for fiction I have Teacher Man, (because McCourt is the author of Angela’s Ashes, and I’m a sucker for depressing Irish stories.) the History of Love, and Into the Wild.

(And for all other times, Brian Andreas says it well enough.)

And finally, yesterday’s engagement shoot water balloon massacre was nothing short of amazing. Matt and Elisabeth are dear chums and officially documenting the awesomeness of Them was quite loved.

Hope your week’s off to an extraordinary start.

Add Loius L’Amour to your historical fiction list…..for when you want to smell the coffee boiling, hear the creak of leather, or feel the cold chilling you to the bone.

Hope you’re good (what a cliche – of course you’re good!)
