studio | open house!

So a little while ago Carrie and I opened our studio, and to celebrate it’s prettiness we had ourselves a party.
About 150 of our friends and clients came through that day and it was SO so so much fun. Felt a bit like a wedding reception actually – getting to catch up and celebrate a...

our studio!

So I’m horribly behind on blogging but I wanted to at least show off the shiny-new-toy of a studio space that Carrie and I are giddy to have. It’s located in an old house in the middle of an old town and I still can’t believe I get to work here. It’s certainly still a...

LOVE LOVE!!!! Great display of all your beautiful work….I’m somewhat jealous :) (we work in a dingy little basement…someday, someday we’ll get a better/bigger space). Looking forward to some more posts!

Whitney - March 7, 2011 - 12:06 pm

This is amazing. The photography and the colors are perfect, professional and warm and totally awesome. I’m in love with your whale pillow, also.

benjamin - March 7, 2011 - 1:20 pm

that is one drop-dead SEXY space! nice work! loving the 4×6 wall and that cute range-finder yashica is a great camera… i have one too but the meter doesn’t work… so it’s a little tricker to use these days. beautiful.

Emily Heizer Photography - March 9, 2011 - 6:49 am

BEAUTIFUL! I love how you’ve displayed your artwork throughout your home. I wish I had the innovation to do the same myself! I’m at a total loss as to how to do that with my own work. I love your little living room corner with the updated blue victorian sofa. Total delight to the eyes!

Ami - March 9, 2011 - 6:46 pm

i LOVE it! you did an amazing job!

Rici - January 18, 2012 - 3:35 pm

Dear Rebekah,
I simply love your atelier! and I am really sorry you had to close it. It inspires me to it´s fullest! I love how you spread you artistic style all over. + I have the feeling this is a new inspiration goal for me. Maybe one day I will be able to built my own atelier space in some European town. I hope you can stop by then and have some tea with me ;-)
Many greetings from Tuscany, Siena.

the wedgewood collective | studio in progress!

Carrie and I have been hard at work getting our studio home all set up and painted and decorated. We’ve been collecting eclectic furniture and updating them with new paint and fabrics and having the best of times! It was a much larger project than we anticipated but it’s exciting to be FINALLY nearing...

Painting is nothing to apologize for being TOO obsessive about. Half-drops of green can make or break your world! Congratulations on your new studio space – jealous of you, just a half-drop of green’s worth.

I have to admit, I’m slightly envious of your Logo. It’s amazing.
And I feel you on the “we could paint it!” projects. You don’t even want to know about the projects littering my art tables, church office, and garage loft. It’s….. bad. :)

Have a wonderful open house!
I am sincerely thinking about coming your way sometime in the latter spring.

Lydia - January 22, 2011 - 2:56 pm

Hope your open house is going fabulously!

Laurajane - January 23, 2011 - 9:44 pm

oh my goodness i LOVE that logo! and i totally know what you mean about trying to find the perfect grey. i painted my room grey and it seriously took me like 3 months to getting more and more paint chips and taping them on the wall, all to pick out a completely different one from the rack when i went to buy the paint. it’s not entirely the “perfect” grey, but it’s quite close.

[...] The studio has been a lovely work in progress with multiple paint colors chosen and re-chosen. Much to the chagrin of the lady at the Benjamin Moore Paint counter  who quickly hides herself in the back so she won’t have to add ” just one more drop of gray” to our ever -changing-minds paint can. To see more pictures of our studio check out Rebekah’s post here. [...]
