Finding love is finding home.

I don’t even know where to start with these two.

They’re the stylish kind of people who proudly arrive at a photo shoot with a flask, my new nickname, a habit of collecting stumps from the side of the road and enough stories and love letters to turn the evening into the dearest sort of beautiful.

Despite our planned locations being closed we still such a marvelous time, because that’s what they do. They’re make-the-best-of-it kind of people, no matter the years (and years) or oceans between.

I’m thrilled they’re finally home together, and Joe and I can’t wait for their wedding next summer and all our double dates in between.

When traveling as a photographer there’s always that identity crisis of not wanting to look or feel like a tourist, but still wanting to casually document ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING you find beautiful. But logistically that can be a bother. Keeping a camera around your neck is an instant fail, toting a camera bag feels too much like I’m working, and compromising with a point and shoot just leaves you frustrated. I went back and forth on Kelly Moore / Epiphanie bags, but just never got around to getting one.

Well anyways, Photojojo just started carrying this camera bag insert, and it’s GENIUS. It fits a camera + extra lens INSIDE most large purses – making it the most convenient (and affordable) solution for my indecisive self.

ONA, the company who makes the bag has a few regular camera bags too, especially for guys. I’m starting to teach the boyfriend photography and he’s catching on pretty quick. Since getting to date your best friend is just the best of fun, I’d bet shooting jobs together would make for a good life too. (That or he’ll get big and famous and buy me out.)

And finally, these outrageously attractive people are getting married tomorrow, and guess what I get to do : )

They’re consultants and pyrotechnic experts – the sort of couple you’d equally love getting drinks or ice cream with…or cupcakes (cupcakescupcakescupcakes) or taco truck (tacotrucktacotrucktacotruck) or anything else relating to quality food and slightly-more-than-memorable times.

Wedding plans include a bride, her dress, her groom, and their photographer…and a Rob-and-Lindsey sort of killer party…somewhere in the world. So for now it’s a surprise destination wedding? So much love and excitement.

Ohh chums.

From bowling on Tuesdays to Fridays in Manhattan, Taylor’s been one of the best dears ever. We’ve been friends since high school and it’s been exciting to see her and Stuart (certainly one of the best guys I know) fall in love. They met at school, and after a couple years of best-friendship they’re getting married this weekend.

Crazy that it doesn’t seem that long ago we were playing dress-up in fancy department stores (since ok, maybe it wasn’t all that long ago) and now we have official timeline details for their WEDDING and it’s so surreal. I’m thrilled for how God’s brought them together and how darling their wedding will be, but mostly for the excellence of them starting an amazing life together.

AND JUST LOOK AT CUTE THEY ARE.
